All hardwood is sourced locally in Nova Scotia. We primarily use Walnut and Maple as they keep their color over time. While being durable enough to take the abuse knives cause.
All boards are finished with food-grade mineral oil to enrich the look of the wood while adding a layer of protection.

Production Time:
Our cutting boards are shipped within 3-5 business days after your order is received. Delivery within Canada takes up to 7 business days. For faster delivery, consider upgrading your options at checkout. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship internationally at this time. During the holiday season, cutting boards ordered in November and December may take 7-10 business days for production.
Returns:
We understand that sometimes plans change, but please note that we cannot accept returns for a change of mind. In the unlikely event of a printing mistake on our end, we will replace the item free of charge. Customized or personalized items, including food-grade items, are non-refundable.
Please be aware that while we do our best to accurately represent product colors in our photos and proofs, variations may occur due to browser and monitor settings. If you wish to make a return, please request it within 5 calendar days of receiving your item. A return authorization number is required, and the item must be returned in new and unused condition. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and the buyer is responsible for all return shipping fees. For your protection, we recommend obtaining a tracking number for the package. Return decisions are made at our discretion.
Damages and Issues:
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately within 3 business days if you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, so we can evaluate the situation and make it right.
Care Instructions
Care Instructions
To keep your board in great condition, we recommend hand washing it with warm water, dish soap, and a soft sponge. Clean any crevices to remove food and bacteria. Immediately dry the board with a dish towel to avoid warping or splitting due to prolonged exposure to moisture.
Please note that due to the natural nature of wood, variation in shade can occur, making each board unique. We cannot issue a refund or remake a board for light or dark areas, as this only adds to the beauty of the product.
